    Day 1; Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

    On Day 1, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of Lake Manyara National Park. After an early breakfast, we’ll embark on a game drive to search for the “Big Five” mammals. Located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara offers a stunning variety of landscapes, from golden savannahs to mighty rivers and lush shrubbery. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by this breathtaking scenery.The park is also home to the famous tree-climbing lions, water buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. In the afternoon, we’ll leave Lake Manyara and drive towards Arusha, passing scenic Maasai bomas, baobab forests, and rolling savannah plains. Later, we’ll head to Mto wa Mbu for the evening, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 2; Serengeti National Park

    We will leave Mto Wa Mbu early morning and drive to Serengeti National Park. We will drive to Serengeti on a road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way. The golden savannah and endless plains, teeming with zebras, wildebeest and giraffes make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. On this day, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai kopje (a small, rocky hill in a generally flat area), where you will have the opportunity to view the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, we will proceed further into the plains for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night at the Central Serengeti.

    Day 3; Central Serengeti National Park to North Serengeti (Kogatende)

    After breakfast, we’ll start our game drive to the Kogatende area, searching around the kopjes looking for carnivores and the large migration groups that will be preparing to cross the Mara River into Kenya. Home to large numbers of hippos and Nile crocodiles, the Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the Wildebeest Migration and the relative safety of the Maasai Mara. If you’re patient and a little lucky, you may even get to witness the death-defying crossing itself where wildebeest and zebras brave the river’s currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety.     We’ll start our day immediately after breakfast, driving through the plains of Togoro and the Mbuzi Mawe kopjes on our way to cross the Banagi River into the Seronera region of the Central Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll spot everything from the enigmatic dik-diks to towering elephants, and everything in between. The Seronera is often known as ‘big cat country’, and its kopjes and acacias provide an excellent opportunity to spot prides of lazy lions, sleek cheetahs out on the hunt, and leopards overseeing everything from their lofty perches. The region’s hippo pools and wide-open spaces provide ample opportunities for game viewing. Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti National Park.

    Day 5; Serengeti National Park (Central) to Ngorongoro Crater

    After an early breakfast, we’ll head to Ngorongoro Crater, the best time for spotting wildlife. Our game drive will take us around the crater, and we’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake, home to hippos and migratory birds. The crater’s ecosystem, a true animal “oasis,” increases our chances of seeing all of “The Big Five” – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and water buffalo. Formed over two million years ago by a collapsed volcano, Ngorongoro Crater is a natural marvel. Inside the caldera, we’ll encounter zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and hyenas. Flamingos adorn Soda Lake, while hawks and vultures circle above. The crater also hosts storks, ibis, and cranes, making it a prime spot for birdwatching. After a fulfilling afternoon of animal sightings, we’ll head back to Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll overnight and enjoy a delicious dinner. It’s a day filled with unforgettable wildlife experiences in one of Africa’s most iconic locations.

    Day 6; Tarangire National Park to Arusha

    You will depart from Mto Wa Mbu in the morning and drive to the Tarangire National Park where you will discover the true enormity of the deserted termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. The colossal herds of African elephants dominate the golden savannah and screeching flocks of the striking yellow collared lovebird can be heard from miles away. The wildlife that roams the scenic landscape of the Tarangire includes lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes and baboons.
