This Adventure offers an immersive experience, taking you deep into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to track the magnificent mountain gorillas, in the open savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park to witness the unique tree-climbing lions, and into the lush Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking adventure.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight, (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2 – Leave Kampala in the morning and have a stopover at the Equator, a famous spot for photography. For the rest of the drive view the long horned Ankole cattle papyrus acacia woodlands and terraced landscape of Kigezi high lands on your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Lunch en-route in Mbarara at the Igongo Cultural Centre and a chance to visit the Ankole cultural museum. Dinner and overnight at (Full Board)
Day 3 – Gorilla Tracking: After an early Breakfast and briefing from the guide, set off for the gorilla trekking in the Forest Sanctuary, the activity starts at 8.00am. You need to carry packed lunch, rain jacket and jungle boots. The rangers will provide you with walking sticks and your driver will ensure that you have enough drinking water. The time taken to find the gorillas depends on the movements of these marvelous primates. An encounter with an earth shaking 350 pound silverback or baby gorilla is an unforgettable experience! Day 4 – The tree climbing Lions of Ishasha sector: After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector of QENP; go for a game drive in the open Savannah in search for the tree climbing lions. These rare lions are found only in this part of the park. It’s impressive to look at them while they are resting on top of the fig trees and thereafter Lunch en-route. Afternoon, proceed to the Mweya peninsula for another game drive. Dinner and overnight. (Full Board)
Day 5 – The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel: After a cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens’s mile tracks in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, Cape buffalo, warthogs, leopard, spotted hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topi and a lot of small animals and birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax on the swimming pool. After lunch board the boat cruise for the best navigation of the Kazinga Channel, a good experience for birding, as you will see many water birds, cormorants, pelicans, eagles, as well as crocodiles, hippos, elephants. Transfer to Fort Portal for dinner and overnight. (Full Board)
Day 6 – Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest National Park: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park after an early breakfast, for primate viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora. After lunch a visit to Bigodi swamp eco -tourism site is amazing, as we shall encounter rare and beautiful flora and fauna. On the way back do not miss the beauty of the Kasenda Crater Lakes, which dominates all the surrounding areas with the possibility of amazing panoramic views. Dinner and overnight (Full Board)

GORILLA TRACKING
In the program there is a day in Bwindi to track gorillas. The cost of the gorilla permit is included in the tariff.
We can obtain these permits if you communicate to us in advance. In case of availability, these have to be paid immediately.
In case of modification; we will communicate it as soon as possible.
Once requested and paid for, the gorilla permit is not refundable in case of cancellation.
VISA
A visa is needed for Uganda. Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months is needed. The price is $50 (valid for one month and for a single entrance).
TRANSPORT
We use 4×4 minibus vehicles or land cruisers.
